Our Fish has no fear

We are visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Florida. I had a business trip so Eric headed to Ft. Myers with Henry for the week, and I came to join them for the weekend.
We headed to the beach yesterday. Henry felt at home in the ocean. A little too comfortable with the ocean.
Dad checking the temp:

Wading in:

We thought he might be starting to get scared:

He is not even thinking about stopping:

Dad tried to talk him into the shallows:

We finally just had to take him kicking and screaming away from the ocean. We thought he'd stick his feet in and that's it. He went running towards the sea!

Henry le gusta frijoles

We had dinner at our neighborhood Mexican restaurant with Grandpa Barry last night. Henry was really loving the beans, attacking them with a spoon. He also was dancing in his high chair to the Latin music as well. It's almost cute enough to want to bring him on our anniversary trip to Mexico this spring...............almost :)

Trip to Isle of Man

We spent Christmas at my grandmother's house in Port Erin, Isle of Man. Henry was an angel on all 6 of our flights. Here are some highlights of the trip:

Henry got his haircut from his great Aunt Ann. She also gave me and Adam our first haircuts, so it was special that we timed the length of his mullet to our trip!

We also continued the love of feeding the gulls at Great-Nan's house. The leftovers go to the backyard and all the gulls swoop in. We weren't sure if Henry would be scared or not, but he LOVED it.

We also explored the Island a few of the days. Eric got his picture of snow, ocean, and a palm tree:

Our family has a tradition of taking pictures of kids and grandparents in front of the boarding house our family used to own on the beach. We have my grandpa and his sister w/ his grandpa, my dad and Aunt Ann with his grandfather, and now Henry with Grandpa Barry.
