Week 6 & Week 7

Henry is definitely growing fast these days. He is bigger, and getting to be a bicep workout to carry around. He is becoming a lot more alert, and is smiling if you make a funny enough face to him. We took him out for lunch for the first time, and it went well. He stayed quiet and in his carseat. We have taken a few adventures since then, all going pretty well. We feel so good about it, we decided to brave a plane ride to go visit Grandma & Grandpa Olson. Cross your fingers for us that day!

This past Sunday Henry took advantage of dad's nervous pacing while watching the Vikings, and enjoyed a walk around the living room for a few hours. Eric had to pass him off a couple of times because his yelling startled Henry :)

Henry is now 5 weeks old. Here are the pictures of weeks 3, 4, and 5. He has grown a lot and is well into 3 month clothes. He is a big eater, and gets quite angry when he is not fed on his schedule. He is definitely more alert, and can track movement pretty well. He will turn his head at our voices, and stares bewildered at anything shiny and bright. I've seen a couple of smiles from him (not gas), but Eric remains unconvinced that they are voluntary :)

Henry's First Christmas

We had a great time with our families over Christmas this year. To no one's surprise Henry made a great haul this year :) Clothes, toys, books, you name it- he got it.
Our New Year's Eve was pretty mild compared to the ones of the past. Henry did do his best and kept us up until well after midnight- so he did see the ball drop!
