A weekend at the cabin

We had a lot of fun this weekend at the lake! It was for the most part good weather and we fully enjoyed two sunny days outside. I (Meghan) am the only one who caught fish (6 to be exact) while Eric and Irv are at 0 :)

Henry's 1st swimming adventure- skinny dipping! He really liked his pool.

Henry's Great-grandma Audrey (Nana) refinished a Henry sized rocking chair just for him and it is great! Thank you Nana!!!!!! He loves sitting in it, and slapping the arms.

Fathers Day.

Sunday was Fathers Day, and Eric's first. In the afternoon Eric & Henry went to go watch the Twins and have lunch with Grandpa Irv, and then at night we went out to eat with Grandpa Barry. I think Henry had the best day out of everyone since he got to see Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Erin, Uncle Adam, & Grandpa Barry! He slept well that night :)

1 tooth down, 19 to go!

Henry cut his 1st tooth last week! In keeping up with his easygoing babyhood, it didn't seem to phase him very much. He'll chomp on anything that gets close to his mouth (including your finger) and he drools...........a lot. Other than that it is business as usual around here!!!

Henry's new favorites

Henry has picked up some new favorite things to do thanks to Grandma. She taught him no and a lip noise- it's pretty funny:

6 Months!

Henry was 6 months old yesterday. He is becoming more engaged with the world around him, and is mastering skills like sitting up on his own, babbling, squealing, laughing,and thanks to grandma- shaking his head no. He loves it if you shake your head no, and then he will respond with a head shake of his own! It is adorable.

Memorial Day at the Cabin

We had a pretty exciting weekend! First of all, big news for Henry and his future summers. The Olson's bought a cabin across the lake from the Jackson's cabin!!! Henry doesn't know it yet, but he is in for some exciting summers. All his grandparents, visiting cousins, aunts, & uncles in one place! You can literally see the cabins from each of their docks:
